When I first moved to Atlanta decades ago, my husband and I settled into an apartment complex located in East Point Georgia near the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. At that time I did not know the area that well and was not aware all the air traffic noises. I worked nights so it didn't occur to me that this was going to be a problem for me trying to sleep during the day.
I soon found out that the noise of the air planes taking off and landing was over bearing it seem like every five or ten minutes the planes were taking off the run way ,the noise was so bad until I had to put ear plugs in order to get to sleep. The noise was keeping me awake and I would go to work tried and sleepy everyday. I would take my lunch break at work, head to my car for an hour to try and get some sleep.
So many times I would tell my husband let's find another place to live, but with him just retiring from the military, and looking for a permanent job,we were trying to get established saving enough money to purchase a home. With four kids , our oldest daughter was graduating from high school we had little money to spend on buying a home at the time.
Over the years, I look back and say to myself even though things seem bad then I still believed that it all soon would pass. The time did pass and we found a house that was affordable. Now I know that it was a test of strength for both me and my husband. I had strong conviction we had to move forward. We saved and put our monies together, just so we could afford to buy a house. When we moved from the apartment a year later our lives changes to value the heartship we had to endure to get to were we are now. .. I love to remember the part of our lives where we made it through the difficult times. We learned a valuable lesson to challenge ourselves to do what it took to get through the rough times. "You might say that you don't have any time to invest in anything, but if you are honest with yourself, you will find that there is something important to you maybe even something that you keep hidden in your heart for which you make time because of its value to you.
Knowing what you want and pursuing it will allow you to see the true you. It is important to be true to thou own self in order to do this, you have to value the importance of defining what really matter the most you then put it in action.
Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. It is my hope that you have success in all your business endeavors.
To Your success,
