What you have to give
Considering this is the time of year that everyone is making New Year resolutions. Well I’m not one to make resolutions but I do have a way of turning ideas into solutions that help me plan how I can leverage greater strength in my pursuit to getting thing done.
“I can think of things I’m looking for in life that I could talk to people about, but what could I possibly have to give them.”
Have you ever took the time to think about what you have to give? Are you prepared to take stock in your own resources and what you could give to others, who may need the exact information for their own self development.
Here’s where you can start look back on your accomplishments, resources that you have used in the past that made a powerful impact on your life journey. Skills that you acquired along the way, may have been through trial and error, but still made a satisfying effect to help you pull it all together.
This means you acknowledge that you are a unique and a special human being with a contribution to make into someone else’s life. Have you been saying, If I only had more to give others, it may be a sign that you need to stock up. Do more. Experience more. Learn more. Risk more. Get uncomfortable with yourself, do something outside of your comfort zone to greatly increase your ability to achieve greater rewards for yourself, start now!
Be enthusiastic about reinventing yourself, share with someone things you’ve learned how to do. You may have learned to cook a new dish, send the recipe to a friend. Your enthusiasms are things you’re so excited about that you’d talk to anybody, anywhere, about them. Live life to the fullest, just let your natural ability take you on a new journey, once you do that you will have lots of resources, experiences, and opinions to give to others.
Make yourself a give list, put your ideas, resources, area of expertise, share with others. Share just one thing that you can do to help energize someone else, instill a sense of purpose into and give personal meaning and value to them.
Remember that the things you have to give automatically become topics. These topics can connect you with the people you meet.
